Malaria Free Safari
In recent years the Kruger National Park has been a popular safari destination amongst Irish holidaymakers visiting South Africa. The one drawback though is its distance from Cape Town – an internal flight is required to get from Cape Town to Kruger. The other disadvantage is that most of the Kruger area is a Malaria zone. There are alternatives closer to Cape Town and the Garden Route, which don’t require additional flights or Malaria tablets. Nicola Collins reports.
